The Orlando Sentinel
Dear Loyal Readers-
As mentioned in my Blog before the last (or the one before that?) I wrote a letter to our local "Bugle" here in Central Florida- The Orlando Sentinel- and they were kind enough to print it. As is often the case, I wrote them an initial fiery letter that was probably a little "out of hand" (see blog "Stealing Democracy" from earlier this month). They don't usually print rambling angry letters that lack focus- which may have been the problem. Then I wrote another letter a couple of days later- this one still critical but more level-headed and calm- so they published it. The Orlando Sentinel will only print letters from a reader one per month- so it's not worth trying for me again until July. I often wonder if the Orlando Sentinel publishes my letters because most other letter writers are pretty bad, or is it because most of their readers are liberal so a more conservative opinion is like a rare plant to them, or is it because they actually like my writing ? Anyway, here is my letter to them from one week ago. I find myself defending Donald Trump more and more as the years go by - mainly because I think and feel his critics are unfair and frequently have an agenda that is much more in favor of the "Deep State- Mad King George- Marxists/Communists" than the American people. They use his bad manners and blunt personality to bash his efforts and intentions with hysterical accusations that are quite frankly, ludicrous. This letter came out of my opposition to all forms of hypocrisy. When I smell a phony, I have to scream it from the rooftops. If there's one thing Donald Trump is not, it's a phony. The liberal media ? That's another story.
