Extreme Concepts Worth Considering for the Benefit of the Individual

     Dear readers-  I'm often frustrated by the lack of action or effectiveness of the government regarding defense of individual rights and effective governing.  There are all kinds of concepts that have been tried to "help" situations for groups but they never work because they're watered down by herd mentality and the never- ending political circus between the "right" and the "left".  

Truth be told,  if we want results then we need bold action to enable the individual to succeed, not any particular group.  If life is good for all individuals, then it's good for us all, right ?  

For example;

Controlled Gun Control  -  Instead of "controlling" guns, they should be legislated only as far as who gets them- restricting persons with a tendency towards violence, insanity, lack of intelligence to learn to handle them.  To truly control guns they should be provided to ALL people that want one and all people that want one should be educated in their handling.  The goal is that only intelligent, capable people are carrying guns and those with a tendency to mishandle them would not carry them.  The results would be far fewer lunatic shooting binges since he (probably a he) would think twice to take out grocery store or a school.  In addition,  I would think violent crime would take a "nose-dive" because  the potential victim would be more likely capable of defending themselves, regardless of their gender.  How could a potential rapist or thief know if his victim  knows how to handle a gun ?  If it's likely she can, he's not going to try.  

No more bricks and mortar Schools   The petri dishes for our children known as "Public schools" are a complete failure and have lead to mostly incapable population of adults that don't know basic history or practical understanding of finance or many adult necessities of modern life.  They  lead frustrating lives working at jobs they hate and/or are not appropriate for them.  They vote for incompetent and incapable politicians because they never learned what to look for in leadership other than the vitriol you see in today's MSM. Get rid of the cattle boxes and enable children to learn from home or in a virtual school environment.  This would be massively less expensive and you could have the best teachers instructing a much higher number of students all at once.  Kids that need the extra attention could get it in "question and answer sessions" with "virtual questions" and the brats that disrupt the setting of the virtual room would be simply muted by the teacher/monitor.  No more expensive buses and greenhouse emissions from them which I'm sure is massive on a daily basis.  No more school clothes to reveal a social background at early ages.  No more sexual signals lurking beneath tight fitting clothes amidst all the hormones of the creatures known as "teenagers".  Just learning.  

Government Assistance for all.... with one "catch" -  I think the government should be there to help people who are down on their luck and/or need an avenue to gain independence through self sufficiency.  The problem is certain political groups have gotten very good at promising all kinds of things to specific groups of people and their enablers (enablers- well meaning liberal minded citizens that want to help the downtrodden but lack the energy or interest to actually DO anything about it other than vote.)  I think this assistance should be there for food, shelter, and medical care through government subsidies and tax breaks.  Even welfare has its purpose in certain extreme circumstances.  Tuition or tuition debt relief ?  No problem !  But there is  a catch to this government assistance.  If you take government assistance you CANNOT vote while you're taking that government assistance.  It's obvious those who want or need government assistance would be very motivated to continue voting for the politician that promises more "goodies" to them.  Remove that possibility altogether.  This would have the additional advantage of motivating them to get back to being contributors to society and participants in the democratic process.  The individual need no longer feel the frustration of supporting people who don't want to work but then get a say in leadership that will enable this laziness.  

Of course there are details to be worked out., but this seems a good foundation for establishing an avenue to happiness for all while protecting the rights of the individual.

The Mainstream Media- Rulers of the Modern World

 Chuck Marshall's Humble Opinion on Society's Mendacity

         Seeking the truth in all matters is the same as seeking God.  I  like to consider Truths of any matter because in the Truth is God and in God is purpose and reason for this life.  Whatever way you see God,  it must be admitted that there is nothing in self at the end of life.  That is why it's so empty to live life for the self.  At the end of it all, there's nothing there.   People ask "Is God real?"  A more appropriate question would be "Is mankind real?".   So much of what we do is empty and self serving.   Like a bad comic book character.   It would make more sense,  if at the end of it all,  we're the fake beings living in the reality of a living God.  He's the only true reality and we're simply figments of His imagination.  When people die they are wadded up like a bad sketch and He discards them for lack of substance.  Perhaps, though, some He saves. 

     As my heading states;  Wise Government delivers Truth, Justice and Liberty.  I feel that the three are intertwined and you can't have one without the other.  If the truth is spoken and allowed to be spoken then Justice and Liberty will naturally follow.  

     My first big "Truth Be Told" is that our enormous government is largely influenced by the Mainstream Media  (which, for the purpose of this blog includes the large internet  players;  Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google) who are not too familiar with Truth.  Our enormous government is to the point of existing for it's own purpose and it stays there through media support.  The lack of truth in government and leadership has flowed from the Mainstream Media.  Government is to the point of existing for itself and profit only.  It's no longer for the people, it's for the ruling class.   Flowing from the media are those who benefit from their approval;   academia, corporations,  entertainment, the three branches of government (enrobed by a massively bloated bureaucracy).  These groups decide our laws and in large part they decide our elections.  They are mostly entrenched in their own survival much like the scribes and pharisees from the days of old.  They preen around pronouncing to us how great they are while they rob us of the Truth through their lies and self aggrandizement.  They insist we admire them and all their good works while the good works benefit mostly themselves.  We're treated as little children that are incapable of ruling ourselves.   Such suspicions of the rule of mankind are similar to the royals of centuries ago.  Those days are not over, they just have a different face.  

     Witness the media as it dictates to us what to think and how to vote.  Open discussion and debate is long gone in all arenas and each news entity has its own agenda.  Every news article is clothed in opinions but naked of facts.  The Truth is last on their list.  You cannot vote for the person best qualified for the job because you have no idea what is the Truth.  This lack of clarity keeps them in power.  Like the Kings and Queens of old Europe, they see themselves as innately superior to the common man.   But why do so few people stand up to ask "From what authority did that come?".   How could God choose a particular person or group to rule over mankind  when we're all equal in His eyes ?  The only way for the Truth to rule is for the people themselves to vote freely as fully informed citizens.  In addition, there cannot be any hidden agendas lurking in the corners of our media as is common place today.  In today's world,  all of that is impossible.  

       The true power comes from the ones that control information.  The government cannot control all information, as much as it would like to, but it can influence and buy the favor of the media to manipulate elections in the favor of those who want more of their own control over the government.  Today, all powerful groups and people must win the favor of the media to maintain or gain power.  It all flows from the media and those that own and operate it.  The last thing they want to see is the average citizen having any significant influence on "how things are run" because they, the media and all their cronies in ruling class are the ones to call the shots.  We are incapable, as far as they are concerned.  So they manipulate and are the puppeteers of the government,  entertainment, business, and as a consequence  - the elections.  That is why the mainstream media are the rulers of today's world.

Governor DeSantis and the Democratic Media

     Dear loyal readers !  I sent a cursory, angry letter to the Orlando Sentinel regarding a column by Scott Maxwell - regarding the "trouble" Disney is in for not siding totally with the Democratic Party and all they subscribe for the public.  To my shock, they published it !   I give them credit for that much.  I honestly don't even know that much about the "don't say gay" bill they're blathering on about, but I am sure the Orlando Sentinel, as usual, is opposed to the Republican governor and most any Republican concepts in order to side with the left and the Democratic party at the cost of even handed coverage that considers both sides of the issue.  You know, like a real news source might do.   In their continuing need to exploit the latest victim to their own profit and attention, they are gradually abandoning any thought contrary to their Democratic cronies.   Their (and all modern sources of news media in the so-called mainstream)  left leaning world view has never met a victim they didn't want to trumpet and exploit.

     Anyway, here is the letter.  I do apologize for only posting these letters- I am determined to get back into reading the news, if nothing else to be "informed" of the issues., but it's all the same nonsense., just a different story.  A new "flavor of the month".  Disgusting.    

     The wording in the first paragraph was changed to cram it in there and therefor, comes off awkwardly, but mostly it's true to what I wrote.

Orlando Sentinel Letter- Celebrities and Misinformation

     After several months I finally started reading the news again.  Nothing has really changed, and it didn't take long for me to find an article that bothered me.  So, what does Chuck Marshall do when something bothers him ?  He writes a letter... so here it is and they were kind enough to publish it.  Thanks Orlando Sentinel, there is hope for other opinions in your newspaper - I think.

The Hope of Christmas is the Significance of Each of Us

 Merry Christmas

     I must apologize for slacking on my little blog here.  It has been such a joy to ignore the news this past few months,  I've been having a hard time going back to it.  I suppose I must., but it was nice while it lasted.  I think we should all take a break from the realities of the world and just live in our micro world with our families and friends and coworkers and local communities every once in a while to get a respite.  Enjoy them for what they are.  The bad news will continue as long as the media sees it attracts eyeballs and a good percent of the public is addicted to what they serve.  So, I understand the situation and I wish I could stay in my hole but in the New Year 2022 I will work to get back into the realities of our "Age of Incompetence" and the reign of "Mad King George" (if you don't know what that means, read my blog from a few months back- April 14th "Vaccines for all brought to you by Mad King George"  https://chuckmarshall.blogspot.com/2021/04/vaccines-for-all-brought-to-you-by-mad.html  ".)  

     Anyway, as I wrap up 2021 and 'splain myself a little, I pause to honor the season.  I'm not speaking of all the puffery of Christmas.  The holiday of Christmas is nearly 100% bogus because it's based on a Roman pagan holiday that enveloped the Christian faith as the Roman Empire adopted and absorbed it back in the 300-400's AD.   December 25th was a sacred Roman holiday and that's why we celebrate on the 25th.  So, the details of the holiday are based on lies.  Much of what the Romans did to the Christian faith was an instrument of the Catholic church (the Catholics were a Christian sect in Rome that merged their beliefs with pagan Roman holidays in order to gain favor with the powers of Rome).  Their beliefs in Priests and Nuns and other forms of control through ceremony were obvious pagan forms of worship that have nothing to do with Jesus Christ but everything to do with  public opinion of the day and their greed for power that lasted 1000 years.  Catholics stomped out all other Christian sects over the next few centuries in order to fill the power vacuum created by the fall of the Roman Empire.  That's just the facts.  

     But, let me step back and elaborate a little without getting too deep into my own faith.  I honor the Christmas season because of what it truly says and conveys to the human race.  What it says is that we have a purpose no matter how humble we begin in life as individuals.  At the beginning of this life we are all equal in the eyes of our Creator.  What we do with our lives is up to us, and nobody else.  We are here to grow and learn and mature as spiritual beings and that could also mean failure.  There is hope because,  if you're open to it, that Creator is with you and ready to help you- although not according to your specific dictations or wants, necessarily.   The Holy Trinity is the concept that the Father created us, the Son assured us, and the Holy Spirit dwells within us.  These can only be true if you accept them as true, that is, if you have faith even against great adversity such as being born in poverty or being crucified for standing for your principles.   You will be inspired to do good for other people because you want to not because it's what's expected.  Not "to be seen by others" as Jesus regarded the religious leaders of his time.  In the end there will be comfort and resurrection because you're inspired to love on your own.    

"Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more;  with your own eyes you will see them.  Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying "This is the way;  walk in it"."  Isaiah 30:20-21.
