USA: The Parties and Apathy are the Problem

 By CE Marshall

     Democrats, Republicans and Bureaucrats

Apathy Allows Political Parties to Flourish Despite Their Abject Failure

It's common conversation today in both conservative and liberal circles to lament the "craziness" going on and how our country is in "serious" trouble.  I am no exception,  however as an Independent I I tend to focus much of my wrath on the political parties and all they represent.  Both parties have been leading our country for over 100 years and both parties have participated in establishing our gargantuan federal government, so blubberous and ineffective that nobody can even compute the national debt effectively.  Meanwhile our cities are decaying and government programs can't  keep the homeless off the streets.  Court decisions that don't go the way of the left result in riots in the streets.  There is no order.   There is no safety in the streets.  There is no peace.  There is no justice. There is only the Republicans, the Democrats and the Bureaucrats.

Our country is being run by unelected bureaucrats and political lobbyists.  If anyone doubts federal agencies are  running our government  I suggest they watch President Biden for a few minutes.  He's certainly not running the government - it's doubtful he could run a copy machine.  But someone is running it, and they've been doing it for a long time.   They've been doing it for so long that the media of DC would never dare question their authority and power, so they ignore it, or probably participate.  The true and decent search for truth is long dead.  Now they are owned by mysterious corporations who pull the strings of power and money to their own benefit.

The fact that nobody really focuses on why we continue to vote for these people is testament to the fact that the media and the parties are partners in crime.  If the media focused on the ineffectiveness of both parties it would be in public conversation enough for the people to have some confidence in considering alternatives.  As it is, independent candidates are mostly ignored and if they show any sort of chance to win an election, they will scrutinize the candidate and magnify their faults to the point of forcing doubt into the peoples' minds.   The parties must go on, I suppose.

That's all I have to say for this blog.  The parties are the problem.  I don't offer any solution and all I can do is try to vote Independent when I can.  I am a registered Republican ONLY because Florida is a closed primary state so I cannot vote in primary elections unless I'm a member of a party.  I am also a supporter of bringing power back to the states through the Convention of States movement  (As I've written in this blog several times) but I'm appalled at how many well educated people have no idea what I'm talking about.  The only solution is for people to stand up and start fighting back.  Our founding fathers risked hanging for speaking against the King- what do we risk here today, in our time?  Hardly anything except time and high blood pressure.  Both are well worth the risk.  The meaning behind this country is too important to let it die to apathy.

IMHO.

"Vaccine" Passports and Other Orwellian Concepts

 By Chuck Marshall

I wrote a blog on the vaccine back in the spring when it was still in its infancy as a topic of our current historic times that I refer to as the "Age of Incompetence" (or "L'age De l'incompetence in French because everything sounds better in French).  That was the blog where I introduced the concept of "Mad King George".   MKG is simply an easier way of listing out the usual culprits behind the weirdness of the lying mass media and our gargantuan  government beholden to the large corporations and foreign countries.  This group includes Hollywood and their orgy of self-importance and all manner of modern "virtue signaling" that lays blame for all failure on anyone who succeeds (this includes anyone going back to the beginning of human history).   Above all, of course, it's the dingbat political parties and their never-ending war and refusal to compromise on anything other than national holidays or on how many trillions of our dollars  they will be spending this month.  Mad King George.  But really,  "Mad King George" is a label I came up with because of my interest in history and our revolution that established Liberty as an essential part of being human.  In retrospect, I think Big Brother fits the bill better with regard to ideas like the vaccine passports, etc.. Big Brother has more the sense of the ruling class watching us and making our decisions for us "for the common good".  Mad King George may be too nice for this group.

So, anyway I wanted to address the vaccine news to be more current because it has gotten even dumber than when I wrote the first blog so I need to "update the stupidity" as it were.

     1)  NYC has restricted citizens from eating in restaurants or working out in gyms unless they can prove they've been vaccinated. The good news, I guess,  is that restaurants and gyms are open at all !

    2)  President Biden has demanded that all US Companies with more than 100 employees require all their employees get vaccinated or be terminated.  "My body, my choice"  does not apply to so called "vaccines" but does apply to unborn children.  It gets confusing if you think about it, so Big Brother would prefer you not think about it.

    3)  After discussing the vaccine for many months it has revealed itself as the world's first vaccine that is not a vaccine.  It does not prevent you from getting the virus but it does keep you from getting really sick.  Okay, so everyone should get the vaccine but pay no attention to the fact that it's not really a vaccine.  *Note-  I did get the vaccine and I DID get sick with COVID19.

    4)  If you did not know,  you should be aware that the Pharmaceutical companies that produce the "vaccines" are not liable if something should go wrong with the "vaccines".  That, coupled with the fact that the "vaccine" has NOT been approved by the FDA except in cases of an "emergency" turns this vaccine into history's largest experiment with the human population all while the entire world is watching.    It's "probably Okay", they tell us.  All this at the great urgency of left leaning government leaders and their cheerleaders in the mainstream media.

    5)  If you decide you don't want to get the vaccine because you are concerned about the risks of getting it you're out of luck.  The government and all the ruling class have deemed it essential you take the vaccine or millions will die because of your thoughtlessness.  But, I thought the vaccine was to prevent them from dying ?  There I go again, thinking it through.  Sorry Big Brother !

In conclusion, the meaning of liberty is to be able to make decisions for yourself and your family that you feel are best for you given your beliefs, concerns while weighing the risks of taking the action or not taking the action.  That's Democracy.  That's the people making the decision.   The chance of getting on an airplane and catching COVID19 from another passenger and then dying are 1 in 60,000.  The chances of dying in a car accident in your lifetime are 1 in 115.  I understand putting on a seat belt, but I don't get forcing the entire world's population to take a "vaccine" that is unproven, that won't actually prevent you from getting the virus for something that is less dangerous than driving in a car on any given day.  The chances you or I will get cancer in our lifetime are 1 in 7.   One in 60,000 VS 1 in 7.  That's a statistic worth paying attention to.  Our lifestyle decisions to prevent cancer are significantly more important than all the rabble about this vaccine.  But, at the end of the day, that doesn't get headlines 'nor fatten the pockets of pharmaceuticals, 'nor give our government and media another chance to instruct us on how to live our lives.  It gives them no control over us and so is therefor, of no interest.

Guns and Race in America

By Chuck Marshall

Since the murders of 9 innocent people in South Carolina I feel compelled to write on the topic.  It also coincides with my previous blog in my twin blog, "Journal of an American Malcontent", which elaborated on the absurdity of the lady that "identifies herself as black".   Her name escapes me., but she's a great example of how silly race issues can get.

The loss of lives is the biggest tragedy of the South Carolina mass killings., and I think 99.99% of all Americans are disgusted and saddened.   I guess this must be the 10th mass killing in the last 5 years and  it's getting tragically common.  The tragedy of the South Carolina mass killings - the avoidable tragedy- is that  the story itself turns into another opportunity for our political parties to start debating each other.  Now should be a time to come together and establish some real solutions regarding mass killings;    Gun Control,  Mental Illness, Crime Control and ways to prevent things like this from coming up again.  Our so-called leaders will no doubt get into another pissing match, pointing their fingers at each other and coming to absolutely NO solution but to continue arguing "unwinnable" arguments.  There is no compromise in DC so nothing gets done.  We are essentially a leader-less country with a group of  political extremists that are out for the following things;   themselves, their lobbyist buddies on K-Street (where the real money and power comes from), and of course their "team" the idiotic Republican and Democratic parties.  Notice the glaring absence of the American people on that list.

There is one other culprit in all of this,  the network news media.  And  I do mean the left-leaning networks especially (which are synonymous with the Democratic party).    The networks show no restraint in taking this opportunity to draw their own conclusions with dim-witted comments funneling all of this into the fault of southern white people.  Their narrative is that the confederate flag and the hate of southern white people is a never ending plague upon the black folk of the south.  They also took the opportunity in several cases to blame  Fox Network for "stirring the pot" of racism... .  or words to that effect.   The reality is the guy that killed those people is a lunatic and a psychopath- who is also a bigot.  The problem is with the lunatic part., the bigotry is an ugly aspect of all societies in the world and comes from all races not just the white race.

They-the network media - see themselves as morally superior to the majority of the country.  The reality is they are condescending, arrogant,  self righteous egomaniacs and most of them are better suited to cover Hollywood and all it's superficial happenings., not a real story like this.   This is the reason I stick to reasonably intelligent written media, newspapers and I encourage all my readers to pick up a paper or subscribe to an electronic version of your city's newspapers.  The newspapers usually have thought behind their opinions.

I am as angered by these murders as anyone but I want solutions not rhetoric.   Our leaders are bending over backwards to use this as another self-congratulatory oration of why they are so superior to the rest of the country and the other side.   President Obama won everybody over by explaining that this never  happens in any other civilized country besides the United States.  Wow, comments like that will sure help things a lot.  Once again, he has shown what an excellent "left leaning" college professor he would be but what a terrible leader he actually is.

In my humble opinion.
