The Grand Deception of the Silent Tyrants - The Art of Mad King George

What is Art ?  What is Reality ? 

    Today the world of art has been on my mind.  I saw this post of a marble statue from the 1700's - it's by an Italian artist named Francesco Quierolo sculpted from marble in 1754- 1759  and it's titled "Release from Deception".  The netting you see was done by the sculptor and it is all in marble- carefully sculpted to look like netting.  It took him seven years to complete this work.  The reader should google search it and see it in much better pictures- it's truly a remarkable work of art.  It is an extraordinary example of what humans are capable of doing- especially when inspired by God as in this sculpture.  It represents man being released from sin by an angel.  The scene has a Bible and a globe in it and the point is that earthly flesh will deceive you but God will lead you to the truth.  God will release you from your deception if you seek him.  You may agree or not with the philosophy behind it, but this is a magnificent work of art.  It's truly remarkable for the detail and amazing talent that went into it.   My humble opinion is that the message is also important.   It has everything a great work of art should have and the artist should be celebrated for this accomplishment.  

    This work was created in 1907 by Pablo Picasso.  It's called Les Demoiselles d'Avignon. 

 

     It's considered a "masterpiece" of his and the title translates as "The Ladies of the Avenue",  in other words,  it's a picture of a group of prostitutes.  Whores.  It is worth many millions like most of Picasso's work.  I would imagine it took him a grand total of a day or two to complete it.  When mankind started admiring work like this is when we started to veer towards  a state of confusion between what is beauty and what is not. Between what is real and what is not.  "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" we're told.  The rulers of the art world back in the 20th century decided for all of us that this is beauty or at the very least, it's "brilliant"  and represents something but they never seem to know quite what.  I see it as representative of the beginning of the fall of mankind, of the human race.  When these two works are compared to each other in the same sentence or are in the same building, that is when the ruling class began their distortion of what is good or  "brilliant" and what is simply odd or esoteric.  It is only brilliant in their minds.  We need to all release ourselves from this deception.  There are many, many other deceptions the Silent Tyrants have been doling out for over a century.  We need to start calling things for what they are and stop playing games that the ruling class of our world feel compelled to offer us because it makes them feel superior that we don't "get it".  I get it alright.  I'm not saying it should be banned or removed or anything like that.  I'm just saying, don't tell me that's good when it obviously is not and don't tell people it's brilliant with an attitude that if I don't agree then I'm  not very bright.   My humble opinion is that this is work you would find in an insane asylum- if we still had them.  Isn't THAT brilliant of me ?

MAHA and the Media that Scorns It

Dear Loyal Readers-  Trying out a different type of blog today where I remark on random issues in the media and then do a running commentary on an article from one of our illustrious "news" sources regarding current events.  Today, my favorite,  the Associated Propaganda - I mean "Press".  

News that's not news

A few things today- in the "News that's not news" category - 1) Joe Biden is found to have not been running the country when he was President.  2) "Reliable sources" report that Bill Clinton was one of the top clients for Jeffrey Epstein's island paradise for perverts.  3) The last one is that RFK is testifying in DC that processed food is bad for you- which leads me to my topic of the day- an Associated Press report on the MAHA testimony of Kennedy.

Details, Details..... Those Pesky Details 

Running commentary on AP Report - MAHA   

     I've been casually watching as RFK has been focused on the sorry state of health in the USA.  I braved an article in the Orlando Sentinel- (by the way they did NOT print my letter- from my last blog but they printed another letter I sent the next day- I will be posting it here on American Voice soon !) and it was a feed from the Associated Press.  Yes, for you dear readers I endure much !  So, I read their "take" on the whole thing and I had to "blog" about it some because it bugged me.    

    So, I pasted parts of the article below and have taken it upon myself to make a few comments IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS - to help you loyal readers to note the innuendo and subtle implications of the Marxists/Communists at the Associated Press.  This is actually one of their more neutral articles-- I was a little surprised.

WASHINGTON — A government report released on Thursday covering wide swaths of American health and wellness reflects some of the most contentious - CONTENTIOUS AND IGNORED LEST THEIR CORPORATE OVERLORDS GET UPSET AND STOP PAYING THEM ♚💵-views on vaccines, the nation’s food supply, pesticides and prescription drugs held by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The much-anticipated “Make America Healthy Again” report calls for increased scrutiny of the childhood vaccine schedule, a review of the pesticides sprayed on American crops and a description of the nation’s children as overmedicated and undernourished.

While it does not have the force of a law or official policy, the 69-page report will be used over the next 100 days for the MAHA commission to fashion a plan that can be implemented during the remainder of President Donald Trump’s term, Kennedy said in a call with reporters. He refused to provide details about who authored the report. OMINOUS COMMENT- IT'S SUSPICIOUS I GUESS ? 🔍

“We will save lives by addressing this chronic disease epidemic head on, we’re going to save a lot more money in the long run — and even in the short run,” Kennedy said.

Increased scrutiny of childhood vaccines — credited with saving millions of people from deadly diseases (OMG THEY HAVE TO POINT THAT OUT AS IF WE DON'T KNOW WHAT A VACCINE IS 🙄- "EVIL TRUMP MAN WANTS MORE DISEASE" ) - figures prominently in the report. It poses questions over the necessity of school mandates that require children to get vaccinated for admittance and suggestions that vaccines should undergo more clinical trials, including with placebos.  IN OTHER WORDS, HE BELIEVES PEOPLE SHOULD MAKE THAT DECISION FOR THEMSELVES NOT BE FORCED INTO IT. 

Kennedy, a long-time vaccine critic who previously led a nonprofit that has made false claims -ACCORDING TO WHOM?- about the shots, has continued to raise doubts about the safety of inoculations even as a measles outbreak has sickened more than 1,000 Americans- THERE WAS A SIMILAR SIZED OUTBREAK IN 2019 THEY FAIL TO MENTION AND MEASLE OUTBREAKS ARE PRETTY COMMON. This week, Kennedy’s health department moved to limit U.S. access to COVID-19 shots.  THE VACCINE FOUND TO HAVE LITERALLY KILLED PEOPLE 💀

The report does not provide any evidence that the childhood vaccine schedule — which includes shots for measles, polio and the chickenpox — is to blame for rising obesity, diabetes or autism rates, pointed out Amesh Adalja, an infectious disease physician at Johns Hopkins University.  COVERING THEIR ASS WITH SOME RANDOM "PHYSICIAN" FROM A PRESTIGIOUS UNIVERSITY - 🎓 BIG PHARM IS WATCHING !   👀

“It’s not as if they’re positing any kind of causal link,” Adalja said, adding that Kennedy is “trying to devalue vaccines in the minds of Americans.”  HE'S BRINGING UP A LEGITIMATE CONCERN - ALL INFANTS GET MEGA VACCINES  THE WEEK THEY'RE BORN AND CONCERNS HAVE LITERALLY BEEN SILENCED IF THEY ARE NOT IN LOCKSTEP WITH BIG PHARM 💲

HERE FOR A FEW PARAGRAPHS THAT I REMOVED IT SIMPLY COMMENTS ON USA VS EUROPE AND THAT THERE ARE DIFFERENCES OF OPINION WITHIN THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION--IT'S VERY DRY READING- YOU DIDN'T MISS ANYTHING 

Ultraprocessed foods — industrially made products high in refined grains, sugar, saturated fats and additives like artificial dyes that now make up two-third of the diet for U.S. teens and children — are also hammered in the report. Such products have been linked to a host of poor health outcomes.   WHICH WE'VE ALL KNOWN INTUITIVELY FOR ABOUT 50 YEARS BUT NOBODY- INCLUDING THE ASSOCIATED PRESS 'NOR THE $100 BILLION DOLLAR DEPT OF HEALTH- GAVE IT TOO MUCH ATTENTION

The MAHA commission report “is a pretty accurate depiction of the nutrition crisis facing our country,” said Dr. Dariush Mozaffarian, an expert in nutrition and policy at Tufts University.  VERY GOOD !  A+

The report also focuses on how too few fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds and fish are present in U.S. diets, he noted. But the report leaves out excess salt, which causes harm, even in young children.  WHAT A WEIRD THING TO COMMENT ON- SALT ? 😕

The MAHA report calls on the National Institutes of Health to execute sweeping, nationwide studies of ultraprocessed foods, even as the White House has called for $18 billion to be axed from the agency’s budget. An extra $500 million has been requested from Congress for Kennedy’s MAHA initiative.  DOES IT REALLY COST BILLIONS TO FIGURE OUT PROCESSED FOOD IS BAD FOR YOU ?  

The report raises concerns about other environmental and chemical research results, funded by corporations and industry, being skewed.  IT DEFINITELY HAS BEEN 

But the MAHA commission’s call for more neutral research comes as sweeping budget and staff cuts propelled by Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency have resulted in 20,000 jobs lost at the nation’s health department and billions of dollars rescinded for research studies. The Trump administration also gutted the Environmental Public Health Tracking Program in its cuts of health-tracking programs.  20K JOBS CUT FROM AN INEFFECTIVE AGENCY THAT HAS ALLOWED ALL THIS TO GO ON FOR DECADES- CRY ME A RIVER 😢

The report also raises concerns about lack of physical activity among children and their prescription drug use, including antibiotics and medications used to treat attention deficit disorders.  NO KIDDING - YOU MEAN PUTTING CHEMICALS IN LITTLE BOYS FOR BEING "TOO ACTIVE" MIGHT BE BAD FOR THEM ?  BUT WE NEED $100 BILLION DOLLARS TO "PROVE" IT I'LL BET

Tools and Fools of the Silent Tyrants

 Dear Loyal Readers- 

     You may have noticed I have some anger issues regarding the Democrat party.  You may think I'm laying it all on a little too thick, and that I need to "give them a break" and try to see some of the good they do and that I need to “lighten up” regarding their behavior over the last four years.  "Let bygones be bygones".  To this I say "nah".   The Democrat party is the mouthpiece and the government instrument of the Silent Tyrants.  They are the tools and fools used to rob us of truth, justice  and liberty.  They are the surface and the skin of the Marxists (for lack of a better word) that are strategically maneuvering to keep the individual in society toothless, flabby, and powerless.   They are the minions of the world's "Silent Tyrants" - whoever they may be.  These powers that rule over us through socialist and/or communist governments,  international corporations,  mass media- entertainment and a medical establishment of Doctors, pharmaceuticals, and insurance companies that have a vested interest in making and/or keeping us sick.   A military establishment, and a consortium of corporations throughout the world that have gained great wealth through wars and the death of our young people over needless conflicts.   An academia that is addicted to government "dole outs" and lucrative research projects that serve mainly to validate the “narrative” of the Silent Tyrants.  Let none dare to question the “settled” science.  

      Witness their check-list to remove peace and decency in order to maintain power and control.   Behold their nefarious contrivances;  a 12-step list to keep down the individual in our society which the Democrats have been following with great obedience for some time now.    

1.   Establish a world without borders funneling power to the few. 
2.   Make healthcare easily manipulated for profit through unrestrained pharmaceuticals, big food, medical associations, and insurance companies.   Keep them sick and needy. 
3.  Support for the transgender delusion making hundreds of thousands of young people medical hostages to the medical establishment and field.  Lifelong patients.  In addition, use fear of losing their child to maintain obedience.  Threaten to remove the child  “for their own good” and put them under state care if the parents dare to resist. 
4.  Social engineering to "balance things out" leaving gifted students with no direction or inspiration and lazy stupid children with more power and control over the rhythm of the classroom creating chaos and a LACK of education .
5.  Engineer a media and entertainment "state of mind" that offers deep dislike, even intense hatred of white people, families,  masculinity, alternative medicine, rational thought, and conservative people in general - especially if they are conservative blacks, females or homosexuals.  That's not suppose to happen.  They aren't maintaining their position as victims in society.   
6.   Avoid any common sense solutions for a struggling nation and offer simple minded solutions to complex problems especially if it involves removing powers of the individual. Ban guns.  Tax rich people.  Outlaw carbon based fuels. 
7.   Hire people based on their race or sexual preference or sexual confusion ONLY.  This serves two purposes- it allows the "useful idiots" to virtue signal how wonderful they are without requiring anything of them to actually do.  All they have to do is feel.   Also, it prevents the best qualified for many positions creating more chaos, confusion,  and frustration in the workplace.  This prevents any upwardly mobile people from trying to be- upwardly mobile.  Just say "no" to meritocracy !   
8.  Spend money with absolutely no restraint perhaps even bankrupt the United States.  The poorer they are the more dependent they are on you and the more willing they are to give up more liberties in order to eat.  
9.  Openly shield convicted murderers, rapists, child traffickers and drug dealers from incarceration creating communities of fear and violence and degradation.  Keep them  frightened and cowering in their homes. 
10.  Make use of our  “useful idiots” (as Joseph Stalin referred to them) to maintain control under the auspice of being “kind” and “good” yet without any solutions to the problem at hand.  Just feeling kind and good is enough.  Give them a victim to fawn over and feel sorry for and then watch the Peacocks’  “feathers of virtue” unfold for all to see. 
11.   Have an abundance of generosity with the American people's money to give out to   whoever is necessary to maintain power and control.  Don't worry about the cost- it's not your money anyway !  
12.  Whatever you do, don't allow much of any inspection of American history or civics lest the little Americans understand at a very young age what vile creatures we truly are.   Don't let it be revealed or noticed that the power of the individual is ingrained in the Constitution.  Let "We the people" morph into "We the bureaucracy" full of waste and greed and selfishness and lies.  

 

     So, my loyal readers,  you see, the Democrat party is the face of these Silent Tyrants and I will not "give them a break" 'nor "let bygones be bygones".   The Democrats -whether they understand it or not  (which is irrelevant)  are in support of the Silent Tyrants and they have not shied away from this position since they lost the election.  They won't shy away from the culmination of their reason for being since the Civil War- to keep the individuals down and under rule of the government- whether it be freed slaves or the working class.  To tax and diminish the individual in society consequently elevating the Silent Tyrants. They are a controlling, sanctimonious,  condescending  people with no solutions but plenty of pity to go around.  They are the tools and fools.   In conclusion,  I will not let up.  I will continue to hold my foot on their throat.  I will not let them come up for air until I see their satanic body go limp.

A Tale of Two Killers

     Dear Loyal Readers -  

     Today, I elaborate on the stories of the week-  two men accused of killing another human being- and the comparison and contrast to the reactions from the left-wing of our society under the leadership of the Democrat party.  Let me be clear on where this blog is going.  I have concluded that they are the Marxists of the United States today.  They seek victims to deceive and drag down any sort of decency that speaks truth in order to maintain their power and influence.  

           The Daniel Penny trial ended this week.  This young man was found innocent of criminal negligence for the death of a crack-head schizophrenic from whom he was protecting an entire subway car.   He basically stepped up to defend a subway full of frightened New Yorkers from a lunatic threatening to kill them.  He held the man in a choke-hold and the man ended up dying.  The intent of Daniel was to protect people.  A jury heard all the details of the killing and concluded he did not act with negligence and today he is a free man.  I trust that the jury made the right decision- they went through the process of a court hearing.   I was not there to give my full opinion on the matter.   Today, the left sees him as a bad person because he's white and the man that died was black.  The black guy's parents appeared out of nowhere after neglecting their son for years (as I understand it) trying to squeeze money out of the situation regarding their poor departed son whom they abandoned to the world of homelessness.  Black Lives Matter crawls out to demand justice as if the jury was wrong and the verdict was all wrong.  They know better, I guess ?   Their  name- Black Lives Matter- is a subtle insult to black people themselves and serves the Democrat/Marxists well in that it creates another mindset that dwells on victimhood.  "Whitey hates you and you need us to survive" should be it's tag line.  

     In contrast to Daniel Penny this week is the "alleged" murderer of the CEO of United Healthcare.  His name is Luigi Mangione who the left is touting as a "hunky" guy.  Liberal women are swooning his  good looks and his abs.  This disturbed young man who seems to have lost his mind over the last few months is celebrated by the MSM and late night talk-show hosts as if he's some sort of Robin Hood or social justice hero.  He shot a man in the back on the streets of New York !  A man who did nothing to him personally.  A man who had a family that loved him.  That family  is now watching all this on national TV being broadcast.  Their loved one was murdered and the man believed responsible has become a talking point of lust and social justice posturing for the left wing of our country.  Can you imagine being his child or his spouse ?  His parent- his mother and/or father ?  His brother or sister and then hearing commentary on how your beloved family member's killer is attractive and "had his reasons" for murdering ?   The MSM or legacy media, or whatever we're supposed to call them-  are subtly defending his actions as somehow "understandable" given the circumstances of the health-care system today.  I bring up the media's reaction to this guy because the mainstream media IS the Democrat/Marxist party.  They are one in the same.  Their groveling and grotesque comments regarding this guy who shot a man in the back on the streets of New York is such a clear picture of the two tales we have today regarding the Democrat party.  They have no morals.  They have no decency.  They are after power and the pleasures of the flesh to suit themselves and their epicurean lifestyles.  They are the epitome of deceit and mendacity and a nefarious philosophy.   They are demonic and despicable.

Silent Tyrants of the 21st Century: Big Food and Big Pharm

  The manipulation of truth for the needs of the few to the detriment of us all.  

               

                               Big Food is as Conniving as Big Pharm 

     The more I live the more I see the lies.  I guess that's part of maturing, or of "getting old" as it were.  Many times in life I've watched and believed things because people of authority said them.  When people in authority "say" things we all need to be more scrutinizing of why they say them and "if" what they say is true or simply self serving.  Over the last century the use of positions of power and money have brought about topics that are decided according to who the topic behooves and what is the better direction for the public to "think" of these things.  The more we think the way the silent tyrants want us to think then the better for them, of course.  The truth is the least important issue in their mind.  But when you avoid the truth and send all topics in their universe to orbit around their "way of thinking" then we're all living in a lie of their making.  Let me mention that that does not make us all innocent.  We are told the lie but we allow ourselves to be lied to as well.  We're guilty of not asking questions.  We're guilty of being lazy.  What does the truth matter ?  Without truth then we're at the mercy of a warped truth that prevents real problems from being solved.  You can't solve a problem if no problem is evident.   But it's still a problem, it's just a silent problem ignored by the silent tyrants because it's better for them that it never be solved.  

     Let me give an example.  The food industry.  The Food Pyramid I have come to find out has been manipulated and twisted since its conception.   Big Food companies have decided for us what is good for us and therefor for years  carbohydrates got the "base" of the pyramid thus encouraging over consumption of grains and other white carbohydrates.  This encouraged the American people to eat more carbs and consequently they have gotten fatter and fatter to the point that today obesity is the rule not the exception. I know this is an oversimplification, but you understand my point, I hope.   The pyramid has nothing to do with eating healthier.  It's a conduit for the big and powerful to take advantage of the weak and naive.  It has absolutely nothing to do with what is actually  better for you.   These companies have the most money and stand to make a lot more money.  This is much like the pharmaceuticals deciding for medical colleges and students how they should view natural remedies or the importance of healthy eating and exercise.  They encourage no study of such things at all !  They teach the young future Doctors to trust the chemicals of Big Pharm.  "Trust the science".  This is why your Doctor no longer has advice for you when you go see him.  He has a pill for you.   I read an appalling account recently regarding some of America's most "respected" organizations that do "research" and come to conclusions that behoove the ones that supported the research. Often they literally are sponsored by the company or group that would benefit the most with the conclusions found in the "research".  If there's money to be made then question the answers you receive and use your own common sense.  If "research" is being done to make a point or to convince a group of people of something, then we all need to ask  "Who sponsored the research?"

The Truth Sits in the Middle and Knows

     I've always liked this small poem (it's called a couplet, I just learned) by Robert Frost, but to me it sounds better if you say "truth" instead of "secret".   The truth has always sat with moderate Americans- The Silent Majority- they used to be called. I believe we've lost something important in our society in that the middle, or the politically moderate no longer have much power and the extremes of both parties hold sway of the population.  But the middle, or an open- minded look at any political topic warrants the most truth and benefit to all of us.  We no longer have open debate !  All conversation is biased towards one side or another.  With the internet this difference has been aggravated by the echo chamber of X (previously known as Twitter) and other social media platforms where you can choose who you listen to and the differences become more and more pronounced.  Opposing ideas are non-existent.  The "other" side is evil, devious, and not to be trusted or considered.   The truth is silenced. 

     I was once told by a close friend that I'm not at all in the middle and the title of this blog is not accurate to my true opinions- it's a misnomer.  He says I'm to the extreme right.   I disagree, I am very much in the middle of people who are willing to listen to other opinions.  The left has gone so far left that their main talking points are not even legitimate points to me.  Their conversation and debates are hysterical and shrill.  They simply won't listen to other opinions.  It doesn't help that the media and whoever is running our government are fully in favor of their extremist ideas because it behooves them- the reasons are the subject of another blog.   The Deep State, or "Mad King George" as I like to call them,  are making a lot of money and maintain all their power through the mouth breathing thoughts of the "rank and file" Democrats.  These days are a special consideration regarding moderate politics,  in that the Democrats themselves have become the problem itself.  They are not a political party- they are the government itself.  I AM in the political middle of ideas regarding how our government and society should be run based on liberty, truth and justice not based on feelings, victimhood and virtue signalling.  I am open to the idea of government participation in our lives with reasonable restrictions- but not at the sacrifice of the blubbery, obscene bureaucracy that we have and pay for today.  I stand for a truth that looks and hears both sides of debates. 

     I can remember a time when people had reasonable debates and the media did not dictate their opinion to the public.  It was hard to detect any "side" from the media (The big three networks- ABC, NBC, CBS) were reasonable in their coverage and fair with opinions and debates.  The newspaper industry was not owned by a handful of liberally biased conglomerates the way it is today.  They at least appeared neutral.  Once the cable news industry started up in the 1980's,  the news became a 24 hour "thing".  You can't fill 24 hours with news everyone has heard over and over-- so, the media itself becomes the news.  And it's not profitable news if you're not angry and shrill, and hysterical and full of venom.  Honestly,  the state of the media is truly evil today.  There is no middle ground, there are only hysterical comments, name calling, finger pointing, fear mongering.  They stir the pot and profit from our fears and bias.  Common ground is neither covered 'nor discussed.  The truth is no longer the endeavor of the media- it's money and power that motivates them.  

   So, I crave the truth and I am determined it comes back into fashion.

The "Ruling Elite" are "Shocked" by the Situation They Created.

Mad King George Attempts to Have Dangerous Trump Eliminated 

          A young man attempted to kill President Trump this past week.  The young man killed an attendee at a "Trump for President" rally in Pennsylvania -  two were seriously wounded.   I wish I could say I'm shocked and confused at how such a thing could happen.  I am not.  This country is in the middle of a cold civil war between the left and the right-- Democrats and Republicans.  Each side believes the other to be absolutely evil.  The Democrats run the government and have done so through questionable relations with the mainstream media and most multi-national corporations.  In addition we have an enormous federal bureaucracy that feeds off many billions of dollars of American tax-payer money.  Our  American University system is addicted to government money like crack cocaine.  They all feel that none of us can live without them,  and they all definitely cannot live with a government that is not under their control.  

     The Republicans, while certainly not innocent victims,   have morphed into the foundation of the common American  seeking a fair debate and influence in their government now run by bureaucrats and crony corporate capitalism.  Donald Trump has steered the Republican party to this position.   Having been one of the "ruling elite" himself,  Trump understands who the ruling elites are and how they think.  He doesn't like them and they don't like him.   Because of this, conservative Americans believe he can  make some sort of difference in reigning in the "ruling elite" - what I call "Mad King George" and a federal government that has gotten way out of control.   

     Our federal government is now in the same shoes as those of previous tyrannical regimes in history.  I think of them as being similar to a modern day Mad King George III of the United Kingdom that ruled over colonial America.   Like most royals in history, the current ruling elite of the United States believe that they know better than all us little children and we need to stop feeling we have some sort of "real" say in our government- the winners and losers are decided by the media and the big money behind them.  King George believed all he did to control the American people was justified because England was their protector and Americans were not nearly sophisticated enough to rule themselves.  In addition, of course, there was quite a bit of  money and power from the growing and prosperous colonies.   In much the same way,  the ruling elite of today don't trust the American people with true power,  but they very much love our money.   They have been chipping away at our money AND our rights for a long time.  On July 13, 2024 it reached a crescendo.   

      After the tragic murder of a rally attendee and wounding of two others, the mainstream media feigns that the are just as "shocked" as the rest of us.  Nothing could be further from the truth.   This is the same media that can barely contain their hatred for Trump and have repeatedly accused him of being evil and an existential threat to Democracy.   In reality he's an existential threat to THEM.  Most major corporations are joined at the hip with the mainstream media and the lobbyists of Washington, DC who make sure the government does their bidding.   Donald Trump is a threat to their network of free money and inside influence on our government.  In their minds, Donald Trump must go.  Did they have something "directly" to do with yesterday ?   I don't know but what's truly awful in my mind, is that I cannot rule that possibility out.    "Mad King George"  knows how to play the people and the  conversation - according to their rule as dictators.  Opposing ideas and thoughts must be squashed.  Resistance is futile.  

     The Media,  multinational corporations,  our massive federal government,  academia addicted to government subsidies and money - they all have blood on their hands today.  The Democratic party as their main government partner- has the most.  They are the heart and soul of Mad King George-  In My Humble Opinion.

Dear Wise Readers--

     I continue my criticism of the Corporate Media in this blog.  Why ?  Mainly because I see them as a window into just how corrupt our government and world has become.  They feel they have and SHOULD have the power to tell us how to think.  I disagree.  The power is with the people, and until they respect that fact I will continue on with my perpetual attacks.   In my writing I often refer to Mad King George, as a parallel to our American Revolution.  In case anyone missed it., THEY - the corporate media- are "Mad King George"., and it is our responsibility to remove them from their throne. 

Does anyone else wonder why there is no such thing as "undecided" in the corporate media's hysterical, vapid, empty -headed coverage of elections ? I noticed this in 2016 and this year I haven't seen any promoted poll that even refers to the undecided. It's almost like they like to manipulate the public somehow because "undecided" gives too much power to the public. THEY call the shots, not us. At least for now. Also, no "other" groups- Libertarian, Green Party, etc.... They no longer exist ? It's as if they need that battle going on between the two. In pure speculation I would assume it's because it's more profitable to have a battle between two goliath giants than including pesky "other" groups that might interrupt the boxing match. In addition my previous blog referring to the international corporations and governments needing easy access to our legislators. Any "minor" party could interrupt that flow just as Donald Trump has been a major speed bump in their plans.

Trump is a Racist --- Or Not ?

I've decided to be a "truth pastor", spreading the truth because you wont' hear it on the TV or from any media, corporate, or political leaders. This week is "Donald Trump is a Racist?".

I've heard this since Trump was in the primaries. It's been uttered over and over by the media, CNN, MSNBC, the networks, and of course the Democrats and even a lot of Republicans.

Is it true ? I guess nobody knows for sure because only Donald Trump truly knows his thoughts on race. I see a lot of pictures from his career as a "really rich guy" since the mid 1980's and I've seen no evidence he is a racist from that. The media seem to latch onto his comments about Mexicans coming into the USA and raping and killing people. Although, I'm sure most Mexicans are not like that- there are some, so it's not a lie to make that comment. When he did make those comments he seems to have simply been defending the fact that we need firmer borders and we need immigration policies that make sense. That I agree with. Is that a racist concept ?

Truth O Meter- "Donald Trump is a Racist" - On a scale of 1 to 10, ten being the most accurate., I would say this statement is about a "2". I only give it a 2 because all humans are kind of racist and this goes back to our tribal roots to stick with those we are most alike. That's not a crime, that's being human.

All you have to do is google search "Trump with black leaders" and you'll find dozens of pictures just like the one at the beginning of this blog, many of them from this past week. This begs the question, if they're lying about this basic fact, what else are they lying about ?

How the Media Sold Me On Donald Trump

     The Donald.  Trump.  President Trump.  I don't think any single person has elicited such emotion from the general population as Donald Trump.  "Love him or hate him" should be his motto because that's how it is in America right now.  You either love him or hate him.  I actually don't love or hate him but I am amused by him and I understand what he's doing.  I've heard many Democrats go on about how stupid he is but if  there's one thing I can say with the utmost of confidence-  Donald Trump IS NOT stupid.   

     Before the elections of 2016 I hated Trump.  I thought he was exactly what all the Democrats think of him.  Just fill in the blank and that's what I thought of him !  Among the Republican candidates I was a very big Marco Rubio supporter.  I even did volunteer work for Rubio and registered as a Republican so I could vote for him in the primaries here in Florida.   Spanish speakers refer to him as "the silver tongued one" and he is in Spanish and in English,  IMHO. The reasons for my support were multiple, but I especially admire his great eloquence.  (something even Trumpkins cannot claim of The Donald is eloquence)   I still think Rubio is the smartest Republican of significant status in Washington, DC.   The mainstream media disliked Rubio because it was obvious he could beat Hillary Clinton,  so they attacked Rubio but left Trump alone during the primaries thinking there was "no way" Trump could beat Hillary.  This they lived to regret.   The conservative media disliked Rubio because he's always been open to negotiating with the Democrats and getting things done for a change in DC.

      My opinion of "The Donald"  changed on election night.  After mourning the defeat of Marco Rubio - who was clearly the best candidate IMHO- I dismissed all politics from my life and watched casually as "The Donald" and "Hillary" fought it out.  I watched the debates and considered it was like watching professional wrestling VS Greco Roman Wrestling.  Hillary was the strong "traditional" politician, Trump was the "no holds barred" outsider.  Neither really won the debates because neither was playing the same game.  In the end Trump won, of course, because he walked away with the election.

     My opinion of "The Donald" changed in the hours that he looked like he was going to win the election that Tuesday night.   My opinion changed because overnight I witnessed the mask on the Mainstream media come falling off their faces.  The normal "feigned neutrality" of media was in full tailspin over Trump's election and their Halloween masks slipped off as they revealed their preference for our leadership in government.   They prefer Democrats and their ideals of government control.  None of it was an illusion of the right, it was actually very true and they no longer hid it.  The rest of the story is the continual battle between them and "The Donald" as they and the Dems hilariously attempt to remove him from office for doing the very things their buddies in the Democratic party do with almost no accountability.

     After watching the shock of Donald Trump's election, it occurred to me that I might actually enjoy watching the professional wrestler take on the media conglomerates and their minions in the Democratic party.  I no longer felt ill at his insults to his political opponents and I enjoy the news conferences where he told the Democratic reporters what he really thought of them and their "fair" coverage.  I can't imagine Marco Rubio surviving the scathing attacks of the media but The Donald not only survives it,  he relishes it !  The irony is they are the cause of his success with their  primary coverage favoring Trump.  They fuel the fire of his obnoxious personality with their sanctimony and self righteous virtue signalling and shrill coverage over "non issues" that only matter to people who watch soap operas.  They and the Democrats had a good thing going but I know most conservative Americans will never trust them again.  Gone are the days of polite manners while our government and the media coordinate the removal of individual rights, one at at time.  Drain the swamp Donald !   Drain the Swamp.

Censorship of Thought Blocks Effective Governing

     As I have written this blog over the past several years I've always tried to see both sides of any  point of view.  Sometimes, I really don't, for example I never understood President Obama's reluctance to call Islamic terrorists, Islamic terrorists.  If they terrorize people and they are doing it in the name of Islam, then the term seems appropriate.   From the other side, I still get frustrated that "climate change" (previously referred to as Global Warming)  is considered a "scam" by the right.  I don't see why scientists would lie about it.   I am somewhat cynical towards the matter mainly because the media has picked up on "climate change" as a sure sign of the end of times and their vapid hysterics has caused me to reconsider the matter.  I never hear more evidence, only hyperventilating when we have hurricanes.  My experience has been that the Media will hide facts that question climate change if they should dare to arise from anyone.  There has been no open debate.  If you question it then you're an idiot.  Therein lies one of the most troublesome issues of our day;  the partisan media and their decision that they are to form the thoughts of the masses rather than inform us and let us make our own minds up.   I still believe climate change is an important matter to be researched and studied but I do understand the cynicism as well.

     The loss of trust in our news providers over the last several years is a great tragedy and one of the reasons I write this blog.  What drives me is the truth of matters and filling the gaps of truth in the news stories of the day.  That is why I've had over 50 letters published in the Orlando Sentinel because I catch the gaps of logic and/or honesty and they acknowledge the fact (kudos to the Orlando Sentinel, by the way,  for at least hearing me out !).  Most people are not inclined to exert effort regarding political issues because they have their own interests and passions and who has time to decipher the veracity of what's in the news ?   I love politics because I see the power that would come from a government that's well run,  so I'm  inclined to scrutinize their mutterings.   We will never have a well run government  if we continue to hear half truths and outright lies from those we've entrusted with our attention. 

     Today I think it's safe to say the media (with the big exception of Fox News) is very much tilted to the left and I am not going to elaborate on that because I've written about it several times in this blog.  Keep in mind I am not referring to cable news shows that are focused on opinions,  I am talking about news and concerns of the day.  I am also talking about social media like Facebook and Twitter where the opinions of conservatives are being muzzled as the news has indicated this past week.  One of the biggest disappointments this past few years has been how little the left considers that their counterparts on the right are not being allowed to express themselves fully and fairly.  If you believe in what you say then you should be open to the opinions of the other side.  Anything else is a form of tyranny and will only hinder our voyage to finally grasping the elusive "effective government" that I think we all crave.

You're Paying for the Defense of Europe

          I, like many Americans was shocked to hear President Trump speak with such venom regarding the lack of money being submitted by our "allies" across the Atlantic for their own defense.  If you're not familiar, NATO stands for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and is a consequence of the aggression of Russia (the Soviet Union) after WWII towards Western Europe.  Today the members include many countries of Eastern Europe that were once a part  the Soviet Empire, so it's a growing group that "rankles" the Russians.  The mission of NATO states that "an attack on one of us is an attack on all of us".   NATO was established in 1947.  There are now 29 nations that are a part of NATO.  These are our allies and all that is very good.  It is a good organization for maintaining the peace.

     After Trump used such heavy handed, and admittedly rough language I got to wondering what the details of the situation were.  In an unusual moment of naivete, I decided to google search the term NATO Trump and "surprise, surprise" the mainstream media was having a hysterical fit over Trump's language towards our European allies.   "He's lying" they kept saying and their hatred for the man was hardly containable so much so that they spent a lot of effort elaborating on how the other leaders body language revealed that Trump was "distancing" our country from Europe and he was left behind speaking to the leader of Turkey (?) while the group walked, "like an outcast high school student" (yes, they really used that term).    I wish I could go to the news media and get the information I need without having to google search the details and understand the story.  It's up to us to sort it all out because we're living in the "Age of Incompetence".   I finally googled "USA Financial Contributions NATO", and one of the first things to come up was an article by CNN MONEY from July 2016 listing out how out of balance the NATO contributions are.  Their own article supports what Trump is saying today !

       Anyway, we Middle class Americans are generally too busy making a living and taking care of our families to be obsessing with global politics enough to understand the nuance of how NATO works.  Trump said "They aren't paying their fair share" and "they owe us", which technically is NOT true but if you're explaining what's going on to most people in a 3 minute news clip, this is the only way to communicate the facts.  He isn't speaking to just the European leaders and the Anderson Cooper's of the world,  he's speaking to "Joe Blow".   I'm going to elaborate on this issue today because NATO funding is something I didn't understand either and I figure my loyal blog readers might gain something from it.  We're always seeking information and truth here at "Marshall in the Middle" ! 

     "So what's going on?" you ask.  There are two separate things.  The funding of NATO itself is not a lot of money as it's simply to maintain the "bricks and mortar" of the HQ in Brussels, Belgium.  It  does run into a few Billion $$ per year.  The USA pays 22% of that.  That's for the organization that defends Europe.  We're not in Europe.

     The second thing is the actual armies. The defense of Europe through soldiers and guns falls on all NATO members.  Each member is  supposed to spend 2% of their nation's GDP (Gross Domestic Product, in other word's their economy's $$ volume of output) towards their OWN defense as a way of "doing their part", so to speak.  The graph above shows just how that's playing out.  The bottom line is that they aren't paying for their own defense.  They are leaving much of it up to the USA.  In addition, they haven't been paying their fair share for a long time.  The total is easily in the hundreds of billions of dollars, probably even Trillions if you go back to 1947 and include all countries involved.  So, when Trump says they "aren't paying their fair share" and that "they owe us" it is essentially true, but you see it's not technically true - the fact of the matter is there's no way to explain it without writing a paragraph like I'm doing here.  But, he's right !  The USA pays 67% of the total defense of  NATO in a sense because we're  paying for the military that is most likely to protect NATO;  the American military.  Last year, 2017 that figure was $664,000,000.   It can be said, that indirectly, the USA spent more for the defense of itself and Europe than all other NATO members combined.  Europe has 1 Billion people  USA has 320 Million, and once again, we're  not in Europe.  Finally, keep in mind the generous social programs of our socialist European friends.  I'm sure they can afford a lot of goodies since their military defense is not an obligation they need to concern themselves with.

     So, I'm all about defending the world's Democracies against tyranny and invasion and working to right all the wrongs of the world,  but that there is some "major bullshit, ya'll"......In My Humble Opinion.

Donald Trump Stripped the Mask off the Mainstream Media

     I know to many Americans Donald Trump is an agonizing nightmare of unequaled proportions and his very existence is a fact that jolts them awake at night from gentle slumber.  I understand.   I was there back in the fall of 2016.  I was a huge Marco Rubio supporter.  When Marco lost to Trump here in Florida I sincerely went into a pretty deep depression.   Marco was everything Donald is not.  He's classy.  He's extremely intelligent in the classical sense.  He's beautifully well spoken in both English and in Spanish.   In addition,  Marco is a relatively moderate Republican who understands compromise.  I wanted Marco Rubio to be the next President of the United States and I sincerely thought he was the bright light for the future of the American middle class.  Maybe he still is,  but in retrospect I don't think he would have been right for us today.  The press would have torn him to shreds and his personality is not strong enough to shrug off their full throttle assaults.  He's too nice.  A lot of his policies to improve our country would have been watered down to ineffective "band aids" in order to earn the blessings of the mainstream media.  Alms must be made to the captains of American political correctness;  NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN the New York Times, etc...  Marco would have been minimized and subjugated to being an ineffective and weak President as the MSM busied themselves looking for the next Barack Obama.

       What we have learned today about our little corner of the world regarding our "so called" free press is thanks to Donald Trump.  Look what has been revealed since Trump won.  The press has shown themselves to be politically leftist and openly hostile to any moderate to conservative philosophy.    I don't even know if what they are has a name, but this fact is very important  to anyone who aspires to a wise government that enables the American middle class.  We cannot have wise government when any conservative or moderate that fairly wins an election is then shredded by the press.  Before Trump,  it could have been argued that the press is "left leaning" but they are "generally as fair as they can be".  That is no longer the case.   Even those who lean far to the left cannot deny the press is manipulating the conversation in favor of the left.  Our success, the success of the middle class, is of NO INTEREST OR IMPORTANCE to these people.  We all know what they are today,  and we have Donald Trump to thank for that.  His policies are stripping the "establishment" of their power and it is most evident watching the  mainstream media and their hysterics.  This is so important because the success  of any future candidates may no longer require the approval of the MSM.   They believe they know what's best for us but WE know what's best for us.  From now on the press cannot hide behind this mask of feigned "neutrality".   Now we know.  Donald Trump is  a necessary medicine who has freed all  future candidates to a reasonable scrutiny.  This last year will not be forgotten for a generation, and perhaps forever.  I do hope they will  change their ways, but the mainstream press (as we know it today) is the enemy of the American middle class and Donald Trump is the sheriff that neutered them .....In my Humble Opinion

     This year, 2017 has been a shocker for all of us.   Donald Trump was sworn in as  president of the United States and although I voted for Gary Johnson, I must admit having a certain glee in watching the MSM (mainstream media) go into hyperventilation over the election of DT.  They simply CANNOT get over it. 

     I have a theory regarding all this.  I believe, think and feel that the MSM was so addicted to abusing Republican politicians, and Presidents in particular, that when DT became President they thought it would be bashing as usual.  After winning the coveted office,  they thought Trump would retreat into the White House and "become more presidential".  Their version of this for Republican Presidents is to  bend over and take it from the MSM and their superior way of looking at things.  When DT did not cooperate in this regard there was a significant amount of Delirium Tremons emanating from the gang at CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, etc...  The consequence was a mass hysteria the likes of which I've never seen before in my entire 54 years.   Outrageous stories with gaping holes of logic.  Obvious opinions presented as facts.  A complete lack of consideration and even open disdain for any idea from the right.   A near total lack of logic and reason and a bankruptcy of ideals and morals.  The consequence is a disgraceful lack of journalistic values that should include searching for and revealing the truth.  Revealing the truth and following differing opinions is their purpose.  THEY are not the story, 'nor should they be.

         I do hope they get the help they need.  They should dry out, clear their heads, sharpen their pencils and consider the delights of looking for and writing about the truth of all matters,  regardless of their political slant.  A quote from Voltaire, the french philosopher that has always shined to me as crucial to democracy "I disapprove of what you say,  but I will defend to the death your right to say it".  The MSM is so attached to the left that they don't see issues with the clarity that is required.  Any opinions from  the right side of political thought in our country- most especially if the argument is a good one- are left out  completely.  This is a very serious problem right now.   To all the MSM I say;  Get off  your lazy asses and consider working for the American people in general, not the Democratic party in particular.  You'll feel much better for it.   For now, enjoy the holidays but beware that  I will be challenging your baloney stories in 2018 with great intensity.

      I have been writing this blog for nearly 10 years.  In it I hope I have had some very small positive impact on how our country is governed.  I pride myself on working hard to write more moderate, centrist opinions but I know I don't always succeed at that.  The established parties are an enemy of the people and of liberty (at least right now)  and their political extremists are what truly enrage me.  That is why this blog is often vicious and venomous.   I frequently attack the parties for their inanity and corruption and blatant stupidity and part of me regrets how truly easy that is to do.   Currently I see the Democrats as being obstructionist beyond a reasonable level and their cozy relationship with the mainstream media (MSM) does far more damage to our country than any stupid meeting between Donald Trump's minions and the Russians- even if it DID happen.  So, my anger is more directed towards the left these days.  I know I sometimes come off as an "angry white guy" (there,a bone to chew on for liberal readers)  who is intolerant of  liberal ideas.  This is sincerely not true,  but in our times the predominant liberal thoughts have turned to labeling, categorizing, and above all else political correctness that separates us as a people.  They are unreasonable in their demands (remove statues of Columbus?  Ban "Gone with the Wind"? ) and behave like enraged children when they don't win an election.   They are self- righteous, patronizing, obsequious, condescending spoiled brats with no new ideas other than to support removing symbols of American history without public debate,  to preen their moral superiority (supposed) for us all to see,  and to present to the world their very, very low opinion of Donald Trump.

       It has been mentioned many, many times that the Democrats have never had such low representation at the national and the state levels.  Why are the Democrats in such trouble ?   Perhaps all those years of riding Obama's coat tails have made them soft and mushy.  All those press conferences where their friends in the MSM were nodding their heads in agreement with all that Obama  proclaimed have made them weak and incapable of challenging questions.  Their tactic today is to stomp their feet and hang on the fact that dimwitted Hollywood loves them and that the MSM still rallies to their every point of view,  no matter how ridiculous.  Their historically low fund raising is evidence of their declining influence.  A full 90% of the public does not trust the MSM, so the Dems would be wise to distance themselves from their pets at CNN, etc...and establish some "meat and potatoes" to serve the American people for the next round of elections.  The American people are fuming at the government and the establishment and seeing millionaire celebrities cuss and crucify any ideas contrary to the leftist thought could be the poison that ends the Democratic party.  The recent MTV American music awards featured a "Fu** Donald Trump" rap song.   Yes, if you weren't aware, it's that bad.  

     I leave all Democrats with this final sobering thought.  The shocking success of Donald Trump may not be over any time soon.  In fact, this could be just the beginning as he seems to be swinging many candidates for Congress to his "way of thinking".  It could get much worse for you.   Get your act together and start acting like adults with real ideas for real Americans.   America needs the two political parties to discuss differing ideas like adults.  We want wisdom, compromise, and levity.  We want the success of the everyday American middle class citizen to be at the forefront of your mind.  We need leadership  not a bunch of followers chasing after mobs with a vendetta against the nearest statue.  Like a very cheap wine, it might taste good and get you liquored up with your moral preening,  but in the morning you will suffer a hangover to last for the ages.

Democracy Thrives in Brightness

         Global Hunger Down Substantially Since 2000 

    Am I the only person that reads the newspaper or watches the news and hears encouraging statistics only to have the reporter add a "but" at the end of the good news ?  Why can't they give us good news and then shut up ?    Since the MSM is so determined to direct our attention to "the Sky is Falling" mentality., the marketer in me has decided perhaps it would be worth it to start pointing out some of the good going on in the world and allowing the reader to enjoy the fact.  These little articles I  headline "Democracy Thrives in Brightness" as an homage to the Washington Post's fatalistic tag line "Democracy Dies in Darkness".  I realize their "sky is falling" mentality brings in ratings, but maybe there's a market for mare positive news that at least pauses to offer a taste of the good news being offered.    

     Did you know that the worlds' rate of hunger has dropped 27% since the year 2000 according to the Global Hunger Index (a statistical tool used to describe the state of countries’ hunger situation). The  world's population is getting larger and larger which is cause for concern, but the reality is there are well over a billion and a half more people added to the planet since 2000 and they are much less miserable than just 17 years ago !  The rate  of hunger has gone down by more than 50% in China, Brazil, Peru and Bolivia.  

     Why is the world hunger rate going down ?  There are multiple factors.  Better farming practises throughout the world.  More open and Democratic societies which encourage business and commerce.  A larger rate of capitalism throughout the world fosters entrepreneurship and a higher flow of cash in society that leads to more food produced.  .  

  

   This is good news,   Let's stop to celebrate and enjoy the comforting thought that far fewer of our fellow humans are going without food today.
